Canterbury

The historic city of Canterbury is located in Kent. There has been a settlement on the site since the Bronze Age with the Normans adding a castle after the conquest.

The Canterbury Tales were written by Geoffrey Chaucer in the 14th Century. They are a collection of stories about various people including a Knight, a Cook and a Monk. They are a fascinating insight in to the life of these people at the times.
